Roll each into a log.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Wrap loosely in wax paper. Freeze.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When needed, thaw and slice into 1/2 thick slices (across roll).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preheat oven to 375F.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Place cookies on an un-greased cookie pan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bake about 12 minutes. Blend.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mix together egg, oil, and water.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add these ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until all ingredients are well blended.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Divide dough in thirds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;On floured surface, roll out to 1/4" thick.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Cut out dog bone shapes. (Optional -- prick tops three times with toothpick.)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Place on well oiled baking sheet. Raw Liver&lt;br /&gt;1 1/2 lbs. White Flour&lt;br /&gt;8 oz. Quaker Oats&lt;br /&gt;3 Bouillon Cubes, (Meat or Chicken Flavored)&lt;br /&gt;Approx. 1 Cup Water&lt;br /&gt;2 Eggs, Beaten&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Preheat oven to 350F.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Grease 3 baking sheets.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Chop the liver finely, by hand or in food processor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mix flour and oats, crumble in the bouillon cubes, add eggs and the chopped liver.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add enough water to make a firm but slightly sticky dough.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Spread evenly on the sheets about 1/2" thick.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dip a small dog-biscuit cutter in flour before cutting out each portion. set aside.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, cream margarine until smooth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add corn oil, baby food and eggs; mix until smooth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At low speed, gradually beat flour mixture into beef mixture until batter is smooth.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fold in beef jerky.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pour batter into well-greased and floured 8"x5"x3" loaf pan.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bake in a preheated 325 F oven 70 minutes.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let cool on wire rack a few minutes before removing from pan to cool completely.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ice each slice with yogurt or cottage cheese for dogs, or with cottage cheese for cats.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yield: 1 (8") loaf cake.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;small&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.i-love-dogs.com/dog-food-recipes.html"&gt;Dog Food Recipe&lt;/a&gt; Continue adding the flour mix and stock mix to the bowl by thirds.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When all ingredients are well mixed, place dough on a dry slightly floured surface and begin kneading.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add all purpose flour as needed until the dough is easy to handle and soft.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take heaping tablespoon sized portions and roll them in the extra wheat germ, then place them on the oiled baking sheet with about 1 inch between them.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Flatten each ball with a fork into a biscuit shape.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until fully cooked.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Turn off oven, but leave the biscuits inside until completely hard.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Keep the dog biscuits in the fridge or freezer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For more great &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://doggie-treat-recipes.blogspot.com/"&gt;Dog Treat Recipes&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;, see the &lt;a href="http://doggie-treat-recipes.blogspot.com/2006/02/doggie-treat-recipe-index.html"&gt;Dog Treat Recipe Index&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;div class="blogger-post-footer"&gt;&lt;img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/21895143-113908262521562547?l=doggie-treat-recipes.blogspot.com' alt='' /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21895143/posts/default/113908262521562547'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21895143/posts/default/113908262521562547'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://doggie-treat-recipes.blogspot.com/2006/02/crunchy-dog-biscuit.html' title='Crunchy Dog Biscuit'/><author><name>Pat</name><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img2.blogblog.com/img/b16-rounded.gif'/></author></entry><entry><id>tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21895143.post-113893746962849968</id><published>2006-02-02T21:20:00.000-06:00</published><updated>2006-03-24T15:49:29.596-06:00</updated><title type='text'>Peanut Butter Biscuits</title><content type='html'>1 1/2 Cups Water&lt;br /&gt;1/2 Cup Safflower Oil&lt;br /&gt;2 Medium Eggs&lt;br /&gt;3 Tablespoons Peanut Butter (without sugar)&lt;br /&gt;2 Teaspoons Vanilla&lt;br /&gt;1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour&lt;br /&gt;1 1/4 Cups Unbleached White Flour&lt;br /&gt;1/2 Cup Corn Meal&lt;br /&gt;1/2 Cup Rolled Oats&lt;br /&gt;-Some Extra Flour&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mix water, oil, eggs, peanut butter, and vanilla with a wire wisk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Add flours, corn meal, and oats.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Combine with a mixer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take one-third of the dough and place on a floured surface.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Put a little flour on top of the dough.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Gently knead the dough, adding more flour as necessary to form a pliable dough. (You will use quite a bit of flour).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Roll out to 1/2 - 3/4 inch thickness and cut out shapes with cookie cutters.
